Is it okay to think a computer is sexy?
Okay, I am seriously turning into a major computer nerd. I really didn't think you could ever use the adjective "sexy" to describe a computer, but that is really the first word that comes to mind when I lay my eyes on this little machine. So sleek and shiny. This is actually the very computer that I bought this morning at 6:00 am. I bought it from Dell. This is the story: A few days ago Dell announced that they would be having a special coupon available starting at the beginning of the business day Wednesday 4.13.05. This coupon is $750 off select Notebooks that cost more than $1,499. Well it just so happened that I have been looking to buy a laptop for a little while and was waiting for a good deal to come along it seemed like a good fit. The way the coupon would work is Dell put out a coupon code that you type in on the checkout page when buying your computer. This code would only work starting at 6:00 am PCT (9:00 am EST) AND the coupon would only be valid for 10,000 uses. Very important to know. Upon the announcement of this coupon it created a serious amount of hype and excitement among computer nerds. There were several discussion boards dedicated entirely to this coupon. It was insane. So, I did all my research and figured out the best configuration to get the best deal for the price with all the features that I wanted. I got everything ready and even ran through the motions of purchasing a few times just to practice and make sure I could do it quickly. This may seem a bit overkill on my part but I'm glad I did it. This morning I got up at 5:45, opened all my browser tabs the the bookmarked pages to follow the progress of what was going on. At 6:01 I started going through the purchasing process. At 6:46 all 10,000 uses of the coupon had been used up! Crazy! Talk about a genius marketing move on Dell's part. They sold 10,000 computers in 46 minutes! Amazing. So this is the $1,532 Notebook that I got for $752. (The other $30 dollars off I got from another coupon that I got from my brother Carson.) It should arrive at my house in a couple of weeks. Now seriously, how can you not think this it sexy? Here are the specs to it. This is a sweet machine.

went hiking along side Milcreek Canyon dressed in a little green and hopin for some sun. the sky was clear.=)
Strapped to my back, and all in black, was my guitar. We found a rock which shielded the breeze and reclined comfortably. Tired and cold, I lied down next to my guitar. The case was soft on my head, the body hard, and the potential limitless.
Now that's sexy.
